Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, I am a graduate of Dartmouth College, where I majored in Cognitive Science and explored the nuances of Human-Centered Design.
During my time there, I enrolled in a UI/UX course that profoundly shifted my perspective. The course introduced me to the art and science of user-centered design, emphasizing the importance of deeply understanding user needs. Through this experience, I learned not only how to design aesthetically pleasing applications, but also how to create meaningful experiences that truly resonate with users.
My interest grew stronger when I tackled a UX Research course over the summer 2024. This class gave me hands-on experience, from user testing to giving feedback. I learned how to offer useful insights that could shape future classes.
Being both from the Bronx and a first-generation college student adds a unique touch to my work. I believe my background helps me see things differently, making my designs and research both thoughtful and relatable.
